Byrd, a descendant of the slave Edward"Ned" Titus who was brought to Freestone county in the year 1852.There are six generations of quilt makers in the Titus Family lineage.

I enjoyed checking out your quilt gallery while i had my morning cup of coffee. gorgeous. had to have a second cup!
ReplyDelete(it was great once i discovered that i could get a larger version of the pictures when i clicked on them. then i could read the captions as well. i learn something new about my computer every day!)

Thanks Evelyn....for the compliments. I'm still learning about my computer & all these applications,also. I've only just learned how to operate one since Fall of 2009 and am loving it. I'm working on learning how to make the captions larger, but just haven't quite got the hang of it all yet, especially when the caption is a part of the overall picture,itself. There are just so many little details to remember....but I'm not giving up. The fun has just begun for this 59 year young lady!!!
